Ministry Highlight: Journey Church (Castle Rock, CO)

Journey Church contacted FMF in 2012 when they were a church of about 600 moving from rented space to rented space as they were blessed with growth. After disappointment when several possibilities for owning their own space didn’t materialize, in 2015 they were able to purchase 12 acres south of Denver in Castle Rock, Colorado. At the time, FM Financial was privileged to provide a loan that helped them with their original building on this site.

Fast forwarding to today, Journey Church is alive and thriving! They are now a multi-site church and reported over 5800 people in attendance for Easter. The congregation recently participated in their BUILD campaign to build a new auditorium on their main campus with 40% more seating, more than double their space for kids and students, and convert the existing auditorium into adult meeting space and offices. They will also expand their other locations. The participation of over 600 families in the campaign is allowing them to move forward without additional borrowed funds.
